Working closely with cross-functional partners, marketing leadership, and our clients, the email marketing manager will develop and execute roadmaps for select clients to increase customer engagement and retention. This position will report to the Director of Email & CRM. The ideal candidate will love digging into the data and have a great eye for detail.

RESPONSIBLITIES

Own relationships with small and medium clients and support larger clients

Work cross-functionally with copy, creative, tech & account management partners

Plan content calendars and create briefs for email and SMS

Execute emails and SMS within various email service providers, including marketing automations as well as newsletters

Balance data-driven marketing with strong creative & branding needs

Conduct quality assurance and technical troubleshooting for marketing emails and SMS, including the use of third-party tools

Audit clients’ email marketing programs & build roadmaps for activating prospects and driving repeat purchases from current customers

Develop audience segmentation strategies based on data that deliver on revenue objectives

Report on key metrics and analyze results to present to clients and drive future performance

Share email marketing & CRM best practices with cross-functional partners and educate clients

Develop A/B test roadmaps and execute and analyze those tests to drive future results

 

MUST HAVE

3+ years in email marketing; SMS experience preferred

General knowledge of email marketing best practices, such as familiarity with A/B testing, segmentation and automations

Some HTML experience required; AMP scripting preferred

Experience working in at least one email service provider (ESP) or customer relationship management (CRM) tool; Salesforce preferred

Customer acquisition & retention mindset with a view to achieving revenue objectives

Attention to detail and strong QA capabilities

Experience with some reporting tools, such as within email service providers or Google Analytics, and a demonstrated ability to communicate data-driven insights

Hospitality industry experience preferred; direct-to-consumer experience is also a plus

Proven track record of creating, implementing and optimizing complex email programs to meet business goals

COMPENSATION 

The compensation range for this position is between $80,000 – $95,000. The salary will commensurate with the candidate’s overall work experience.
