Office Manager & Executive Assistant – NYC

OVERVIEW –

The Office Manager plays an important role in helping to shape the team member journey with King & Partners – from welcoming a new hire joining our agency to upholding a customer service mindset when team members work out of a King & Partners office to providing an efficient off-boarding experience.

We envision this person to help champion King & Partners’ good team experience and help to create a collaborative, welcoming and highly-engaged culture. This role will work to ensure that our team remains connected through meaningful experiences – both remote and in-office.

This position is hybrid – we would like this person to support the day-to-day operations of the office alongside helping the CEO with executive assistant duties.. The Office Manager / Exec Assistant will ultimately report to the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Creative Officer and Chief Financial Officer.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES – 

First impression when clients and team arrive at the office.

Serve as the liaison between K&P and the building.

Manage administrative settings across Gmail, Slack, Microsoft licenses as well as our Apple Business account.

Oversee office projects and tasks including office conditions and repairs, stocking the office, collecting the mail, ordering and tracking supplies, managing vendor contracts, collecting and processing receipts, going to the bank, etc.

Assist CEO, CCO, CFO with light executive assistant duties from time to time

Work with the COO to on-board new team members – field questions, send out new hire communications and necessary paperwork, order and set up company equipment, coordinate new hire orientation, etc.

Assist with HR-related projects related such as helping to update documents and policy creation as needed.

Support the off-boarding process as needed – help disable company access, collect company equipment, etc.

Serve as another point of contact for employees when questions arise.

Support CEO with set up of meetings and scheduling of calendar

Support CEO/CCO with travel arrangements.

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED – 

Proven experience working as an Office Manager.

Excellent organizational and time management skills along with the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the tendency to over communicate.

Demonstrates a proactive and solution-driven mindset.

A true collaborator – while there will be times this person will work autonomously, we also value someone who embodies a team-oriented attitude.

Upholds a positive demeanor even during stressful circumstances.

Proficiency with Zoom, G-Suite applications, and Slack.

Experience managing C-suite schedules.

COMPENSATION – 

The compensation range for this position is between $75,000 – $90,000. The salary will commensurate with the candidate’s overall work experience.
