OVERVIEW –

King and Partners – create, transform, and grow exceptional brands.

Working closely with cross-functional partners, marketing leadership, and our clients, the email marketing manager will develop and execute roadmaps for select clients to increase customer acquisition, engagement and retention. This position will report directly to the senior manager of email marketing & CRM and will have ownership of two to four clients. The ideal candidate will love digging into the data and have a great eye for detail.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES –

Working cross-functionally with copy, creative, tech & account management partners.

Owning content planning, including managing calendars and briefs.

Executing emails and SMS within various email service providers, including marketing automations as well as newsletters.

Balancing data-driven marketing with strong creative & branding needs.

Quality assurance for marketing emails and SMS, including the use of third-party tools.

Managing email and CRM lifecycle campaigns from start to finish for a variety of direct to consumer brands.

Auditing current email marketing programs & build a roadmap for activating prospects and driving repeat purchases from current customers.

Developing audience, targeting, and segmentation strategies based on data that deliver on revenue objectives.

Reporting on metrics and analyze results to present to clients and drive future performance.

Sharing email marketing & CRM best practices with internal cross-functional partners and educate clients.

Quality assurance and technical troubleshooting for marketing emails and SMS, including the use of third-party tools.

Develop A/B test roadmaps and execute and analyze those tests to drive future results.

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED –

3+ years in email marketing.

Familiarity with A/B testing, segmentation and automations.

Some HTML experience required.

Experience working in at least one email service provider (ESP) or customer relationship management (CRM) tool.

Customer acquisition & retention mindset with a view to achieving revenue objectives.

Attention to detail and strong QA capabilities.

Experience with some reporting tools, such as within email service providers or Google Analytics, and a demonstrated ability to communicate data-driven insights.

Strong knowledge of direct-to-consumer e-commerce marketing and general knowledge of email marketing best practices.

Proven track record of creating, implementing and optimizing complex email programs to meet business goals.

COMPENSATION –

The compensation range for this position is between $70,000 – $100,000. The salary will commensurate with the candidate’s overall work experience.
