QA Analyst – NYC

You will have the chance to work on a variety of projects for exceptional brands.

RESPONSIBLE FOR :

Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables to ensure it meets functional and design specifications

Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan.

Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, as well as identify use-cases, negative testing, and exploratory testing

Execute and evaluate manual test cases and report test results.

Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.

Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.

Helping with issue classification and triage – isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.

 

MUST HAVE:

Must have at least 3-4 years of experience working in an e-commerce or start-up environment

Proven experience testing e-commerce and responsive web applications in a multi-browser/device/OS environment

Strong web testing and QA Methodologies within SDLC (Smoke, Regression, etc)

Experience with automation tools and test frameworks (i.e. Travis CI) are pluses

Ability to understand and create clear, concise detail oriented test plans/cases from requirements or verbal communications.

Ability to write clear and detailed user guides to hand over for the software tested

Ability to manage time efficiently and adapt to changing priorities

Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

Keen understanding of customer impact of defects and features
