Junior Business Development Associate

King & Partners is looking for a Junior Business Development Associate to support the CEO and Director of Business Development with efforts to acquire new business and retain long-term clients. This role will be crucial for ensuring that we as an agency aggressively pursue new business, rapidly respond to opportunities, and meet quarterly sales goals. It is an opportunity to work on deliverables that are critical to the success of the agency and gain experience in project management, sales, and strategy.

We transform brands through content, branding, UX design, technology, and marketing. We take a digital-first approach to marketing, with an in-house technology team that works on eCommerce sites for brands on Sellect, a platform that King & Partners developed, as well as Shopify. Our clients are some of the best brands in their categories, and we pride ourselves on maintaining long-term relationships with many of them.

 

Who You Are:

Eager to learn and get hands-on in a mid-sized agency environment (30 people)

Very capable of learning and working with various digital tools including Keynote, WordPress or other CMSs

Agile and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, able to jump into new tasks quickly and juggle multiple projects at once

A good communicator

Very organized and process-oriented

You understand and can articulate the value of creative, technology and marketing

 

Responsibilities:

Work with Director of Business Development to put together proposals, scope drafts for Statements of Work, and case study decks

Coordinating meetings with prospective clients and with internal teams

Updating Keynote presentations and agency website with new content

Assisting with producing and disseminating marketing initiatives, such as email newsletters, website posts, social media posts, and thought leadership

Implementing workflows within internal tools, such as file management and CRM, to promote efficiency

Tracking of new business opportunities and leads

Prospecting research and outreach

Attending and participating in business development-related meetings as needed
