Our agency is excited to expand the business development department with King & Partners, and we’re looking for a driven and highly-organized Business Development Associate to join our team. This person will ultimately be responsible for ensuring K&P’s agency materials remain up to date, capturing our team’s best work for case studies, tracking key opportunities and promoting the K&P brand to prospective clients and new hires. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong prioritization, research and communication skills.  

The Business Development Associate will report directly to the Business Development Director based and support the Business Development Manager. In addition, this role will have the opportunity to interact with K&P’s Founders and leadership team. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES – 

Conduct research on upcoming opportunities, competitive agencies, industry landscapes, trends, new developments and launches, etc.

Maintain a library of best-in-class client work samples, regularly collecting new agency work in the market and related work results.

Coordinate meetings and calendar invites for leadership.

Track agency publishing with email and social calendars.

Assist with the creation and posting of K&P company emails, social posts, etc.

Take notes and provide clear next steps on internal and external calls/meetings.

Work with the Business Development Manager to update the K&P website with new case studies.

Support new business efforts by tracking new leads.

Assist the team with putting together proposals.

Help gather work from the internal creative and account leads to support pitch documents.

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED – 

Minimum 2-3 years of business development experience, ideally within an agency environment.

Strong proficiency with Keynote and editing Keynote proposals.

Excellent organizational, attention to detail and time management skills

A strong interest in brands across fashion, luxury, lifestyle and hospitality.

A head full of bright ideas.

Adept with Google and Microsoft Suites products.

Related agency and/or sales experience.

 

NICE TO HAVE – 

Experience with managing client relationships

Knowledge with using pitch.com

Efficient with research

COMPENSATION – 

The compensation range for this position is between $60,000 – $70,000. The salary will commensurate with the candidate’s overall work experience.
